The Nexow DAO: NXW, open ballots and a treasury the community steers
NXW is the Solana token for governance, treasury, dividends, credits, and random rewards. Dry mint August 14, 2026 — 20M hard cap, open mint at 1 USDC.
Most roadmaps are a promise made in private. Ours is heading for a ballot.
The Community panel has a DAO tab sitting next to the feed. Today it’s a teaser — the ballots, the treasury and the reward ledger are still landing — but what it teases is the part of Nexow we’re least willing to keep to ourselves: who decides what gets built next.
NXW: five jobs, one Solana token
NXW is the Solana token of the Nexow DAO. You earn it by building — publishing widgets, running bots, shipping assets other people install, climbing the badge ladder — and you use it for more than a vanity vote:
- Governance — propose features, connectors and rules; hold NXW and put ideas on the ballot.
- Treasury — steer a shared pot that funds bounties and grants.
- Dividends — holders get a cut when the DAO distributes on-chain.
- Buy credits — spend NXW for AI fuel on the canvas.
- Random rewards — drops and lottery-style payouts from the DAO.
It is immutable, transferable, and traded. Utility NXW is minted and burned when exchanged for goods and services.
Dry mint — August 14, 2026
On dry-mint day, NXW goes live on Solana with a 20M hard cap:
- 10M utility pool — minted and burned when spent on goods & services (including the community reward ladder).
- 10M open mint — anyone can mint in the DAO that day at 1 USDC each.
The ladder on the plans page pays from the utility pool. Governance weight and builder rewards come out of the same economy — the people shipping the most work end up with the most say.
The first ballots
The DAO tab previews the questions we expect to go up first, and they are not decorative:
- Fund a community widget bounty program
- Revenue share for marketplace creators
- Open-source the widget runtime
- Lower the NXW proposal threshold to 1,000
- Cut Solana marketplace fees to 2.5%
- Elect community research board moderators
Some of those change our economics. That’s what makes it governance rather than a suggestion box.
The money rails already work
This isn’t a token bolted onto a product that has no economy. The Nexow marketplace already settles in USDC on Solana: your wallet pays the seller’s wallet directly, Nexow verifies the on-chain receipt before unlocking the install, and the platform holds no funds and takes no cut. Widgets, screens, workspaces, bots, agents and themes all publish through the same dialog, with lineage naming whose work a remake descends from.
A treasury and a governance token are the next layer on rails that are already carrying real payments.
Referrals: earn as your orbit grows
Alongside the DAO, the community track is getting referrals. The shape:
- Earn on referrals — share your invite; when someone you brought in builds, ships or upgrades, you earn a cut of the upside.
- Earn from new followers — attract an audience and get rewarded as your network grows. Reputation that pays both ways.
- Credits now, NXW later — early rewards land as credits; NXW-tied bonuses unlock with the DAO. Same reputation surface, new ways to earn.
Your invite link already deep-links into the app, so anyone you send arrives with signup open and a handle waiting. Claiming yours now is the cheap move: the ledger backfills nothing, and handles are first come, first served.
Honest about what’s live
Reputation, badges, levels, the feed and the USDC marketplace are live in the app today. Referral payouts and the DAO — ballots, treasury, NXW — are coming, and every surface that mentions them says so rather than quietly implying otherwise.
We’d rather publish the schedule early and be held to it.
Explore the community, claim your handle, or launch Nexow and open the DAO tab.
