Reputation, badges and the reward ladder: what building on Nexow earns you
Every post, widget, bot and publish feeds one score. 34 badges in three rarities, five levels, and a reward ladder that pays a complete set 1,600,000 credits and 25,000 NXW when the DAO opens.
Nexow has quietly been counting. Every widget you build, every bot you run, every post that lands and every asset someone installs feeds a single number on your profile — reputation points. Points unlock badges, badges unlock levels, and when the Nexow DAO opens, both start paying out in credits and governance tokens.
Here is the whole system, thresholds and all.
Points are just your work, counted
Reputation isn’t a mystery ranking. Nexow computes it from your own activity, on your device, with no server scoring you against anybody else. Each action carries a fixed weight:
- 25 pts — publish an asset to the marketplace
- 15 pts — create and run a bot
- 10 pts — an install of your published work, a new board, a moderation report filed
- 5 pts — build a widget, publish a post, open a DM thread
- 3 pts — gain a follower
- 2 pts — add a mutual contact, receive a like
- 1 pt — write or receive a comment, give a like or reaction, follow someone
The weights say what Nexow actually values: publishing beats posting, and building beats both. Twenty-five points for shipping something other people can install; one point for a like.
The badge vault: 34 medals, three rarities
On top of raw activity sit 34 badges, each tracking exactly one stat.
18 tiered achievements come in bronze, silver and gold — 54 tiers in total, and the bars are steep on purpose. Conversationalist wants 50 / 1,000 / 10,000 comments written. Storyteller wants 10, 100 then 1,000 posts. Architect wants 5, 50 then 500 widgets. Night owl only counts posts published between 00:00 and 05:00 local time — and still asks for 10 / 100 / 1,000 of them.
10 rare medals are single hard bars set past gold, with no partial credit — Oracle at 5,000 posts, Agora at 50,000 comments written, Foundry at 500 published assets, Benefactor at 100,000 likes given.
6 legendary medals ask for something absurd: Overmind at 500 bots, Grand architect at 2,500 widgets, Immortal at 1,825 days on Nexow (~5 years), Folk hero / Blockbuster at 100,000 likes or installs.
Every unlock adds a flat bonus on top of the activity that earned it — +20 per tier, +100 per rare medal, +250 per legendary. Clear the entire catalogue and the bonuses alone are worth 3,580 points.
Five levels, one bar
Points bucket into levels, and the medallion in your account header changes with each one:
- Bronze — from 0 points
- Silver — from 250
- Gold — from 1,000
- Platinum — from 5,000
- Legend — from 20,000
Points, badges and levels are live in the app today. Open your profile and the strip is already populated with whatever you’ve built so far.
The reward ladder — planned, and published up front
Here’s the part that ships with the DAO. Each unlock is scheduled to pay twice: in credits, the spendable AI generation you use to build widgets, and in NXW, the Solana governance token of the Nexow DAO.
Badge unlocks, per badge:
- Bronze tier — 500 credits + 10 NXW, on each of 18 badges
- Silver tier — 1,500 credits + 25 NXW, on each of 18 badges
- Gold tier — 5,000 credits + 90 NXW, on each of 18 badges
- Rare medal — 25,000 credits + 250 NXW, on each of 10 medals
- Legendary medal — 100,000 credits + 1,000 NXW, on each of 6 medals
Level-ups, claimed once each:
- Reach Silver — 4,000 credits + 250 NXW
- Reach Gold — 20,000 credits + 1,000 NXW
- Reach Platinum — 100,000 credits + 3,000 NXW
- Reach Legend — 500,000 credits + 10,000 NXW
Claim every tier, every medal and every level and the complete set comes to 1,600,000 credits and 25,000 NXW. At the list rate of $87 per million credits, that’s roughly $139 of AI generation — about two months of Sponsor-grade building, earned rather than billed.
Same schedule for everyone, on every plan, including Free.
We’re publishing the numbers before they’re live on purpose. Points, badges and levels work today; the credit and NXW payouts arrive with the DAO, and this schedule is the proposal going to the first ballot. Every surface that shows it carries a planned chip until it does.
Start with the easy ones
The bronze tiers are deliberately gentle — one post, one widget, one bot, one board. Most of them fall out of a single afternoon of building. The gold tiers are a season’s work, and the legendary six are a running joke that somebody will eventually ruin by actually earning them.
